We are delighted that what was previously two separate strands have come together in a brand-new department. Engage at Dundee Rep and Scottish Dance Theatre is a vibrant programme of work that brings together a range of classes and projects across our dance and theatre companies as well a series of creative interventions and dynamic new performances.
It is our mission to deliver high quality artistic experiences that bring people together and have something to say about the world that we live in. We believe in the power of the Arts as a vital act of community and as a tool for dialogue and change across our society. We aim to create opportunities for people across Dundee and further afield to access creative activity and to encourage participation across our programme.
Later in 2021, we will be launching our new vision for an exciting future for our department but for now we are keen to continue to engage with our community with a range of classes and opportunities to participate.
How can we find the buzz we got from coming into the Rep when we are not in the building?
In January 2021 we are excited to be launching a new term of Digital Buzz; a project bringing together all of our weekly classes at Dundee Rep and Scottish Dance Theatre to take part in a shared creative exploration into making dynamic performance online.
Classes will meet in zoom rooms to take part in drama and dance activity with an added digital twist…
