Robert Elkin


Originally from Manchester, Robert trained at Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama.

Rob’s credits include Cyntaf in Thick Skin, Elastic Heart (Sonnet Youth); Peaky Blinders (Tiger Aspect), Romeo and Juliet (Guildford Shakespeare Company), Comedy of Errors (The Lord Chamberlain's Men).   A proud Associate Artist of Glasgow’s Bard in the Botanics, Robert has appeared in over twenty of their productions, including the title roles of Richard III and Richard II, Viola in Twelfth Night, Puck in A Midsummer Night's Dream and Mercutio in Romeo and Juliet. 

As a writer, Robert's one woman play Quiet Night In has appeared across the UK, playing at Greater Manchester Fringe, Arundel Festival's Drip Action Theatre Trail and London's The Space Theatre, whilst two-hander Heavenly Touches (co-written with Jennifer Dick) premiered as part of the Bard in the Botanics 2019 season. 

Robert is thrilled to be making his Dundee Rep debut as the part of Measure for Measure company.
