Martin has recently graduated from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland (formerly RSAMD). During his time there he played Benedick in Much Ado About Nothing, Medvedenko in The Seagull and was involved in several other productions including Observe the Sons of Ulster Marching Towards the Somme, Medea, Aladdin and Brighton Beach Memoirs.
With Dundee Rep Ensemble Martin has performed in Kora, Time and the Conways, The Snow Queen, Whisky Galore and The Mill Lavvies. He has also had the opportunity to work with such companies and theatres as The Tron, The Lyceum, Royal Shakespeare Company, National Theatre of Scotland, York Theatre Royal, Scottish Symphony Orchestra and BBC Radio Scotland.
Earlier this year he took part in the Sam Wannamaker Festival at Shakespeare's Globe and last year his first play The Process was performed at the Arches Glasgow as part of their New Writing festival On The Verge.
