George has worked extensively in theatre over the last 30 years, starting out with Wildcat Theatre Company in 1988 where he performed in many shows, including: Border Warfare; John Brown’s Body; Sharks, and The Jolly Beggars.

His other theatre credits include: STIFF!; The Man of La Mancha (both Royal Lyceum); Sunshine on Leith; Piaf (both Dundee Rep); Parahandy (Eden Court); Wolves in the Walls (National Theatre of Scotland); Lanark; Cyrano De Bergerac (Citizens). George has performed in many of Òran Mór’s lunchtime theatre productions and pantomimes, and has also appeared in pantomimes at the Tron and the King’s Theatre in Glasgow, most recently playing Abanazer in Aladdin.

George’s television credits include: River City; Lip Service; Still Game; Gary Tank Commander; Rab C. Nesbitt; Legit; Taggart. He also appeared as a regular in the Gaelic soap, Machair.
