Caroline Couret, Founder, Creative Tourism Network
Founder & Director of the Creative Tourism Network® the Barcelona Creative Tourism programme, Caroline is an expert in creative tourism. Born in France, she is a post-graduate in Management of Culture, Cultural Policies and Museology.
The CTN is the international non-profit organisation for creative tourism development. It was founded in 2010 to promote destinations of all kinds that believe creative tourism offers a different way to attract new generations of travellers, as well as creating a value chain for the territories.
Caroline regularly speaks at conferences and also lectures at universities and business schools worldwide. She has published articles about creative tourism in different languages, is an external expert for the European Union and regularly collaborates with the UNWTO.
Since 2001 she has lived and worked in different countries and managed a wide array of international projects, including festivals commissioned by the Barcelona City Council, as well as European funded projects: La Casa de Velázquez (Madrid), Festival de Cannes (France), as well as various projects in Louisiana, Mexico and Morocco.
