Rep Stripped

Thu 18 April - Sat 27 April

Dundee Rep presents

Director Jordan Blackwood
Creative Producer Carla Marina Almeida

We’re excited to announce the full programme for the inaugural Rep Stripped, our new festival showcasing the best as-yet-unseen stories for the stage in a stripped back, intimate environment.

Across the festival, see our IN PROGRESS sharings - A History of Paper by Oliver Emanuel & Gareth Williams, Belleville Rendezvous by Blood Of The Young, and CARAVAN by Daniel Cameron. They’ll be developing between sharings, giving audiences a fresh snapshot of future productions each time.

In residence during the festival, our PILOT recipient companies - Beth Morton in association with Raw Material Arts, Kidder Theatre Company, and Finn Anderson - will be developing work from scratch and sharing their discoveries on the final evening.

A whole host of writers and companies present their works-in-progress as part of our SCRATCH line-up, offering as-yet-unseen insights every day of the festival. Included is a sharing from young artists as part of Scottish Youth Theatre & Dundee Rep’s Making Space project; with an outdoor Pericles; and series of showcases from artists across Dundee.

Finally, whet your creative appetite with a series of workshops, discussions and opportunities - National Theatre Scotland are stopping by with their ENGINE ROOM programme, teaming up with The Envelope Room and //BUZZCUT//, and Playwrights’ Studio Scotland are in the building.

With low ticket prices and discounts for booking multiple events across the festival, join the Dundee Rep Ensemble for something different and be the first to see new work that will one day be seen across our Scottish stages.
