Rudyard Kipling’s classic tale re-imagined with street-dance, circus and spoken word.

This spectacular new production from the award-winning Metta Theatre brings Kipling’s classic tale crashing into the 21st century with breathtaking street dance and circus.

Mowgli is finding her way in the urban jungle. With a beat-boxing bin man Baloo, graffiti artist Bagheera and a skateboarding Wolf crew, this heart-warming coming of age story will astonish and amaze.


Choreographed by Kendra J Horsburgh (Into The Hoods, Sadler’s Wells and Blaze, International Tour) and featuring jaw-dropping tricks from an extraordinary cast of performers from Zoo Nation and Cirque du Soleil, this is a show for everyone from 8 to 108.

There will be a relaxed performance of Jungle Book on Sat 14 May at 2pm. A Relaxed Performance is designed with the aim of welcoming people with a learning disability, Down’s Syndrome, Autism Spectrum Condition or sensory and communication disorders and making them feel entirely comfortable at Dundee Rep. This particular performance of Jungle Book will see a relaxed attitude to noise and movement with some small changes made to the lighting of the stage and the sound effects included in the performance.
