Join Wendy Weatherby, John Morran, Mark Duff, Sandy Brechin and Dr Fred Freeman for an informal performance of a little known but superb musical ‘cantata’ by Robert Burns along with a selection of Burns songs from the internationally acclaimed CD series “THE COMPLETE SONGS OF ROBERT BURNS”. From light galloping instrumental tunes (the foot-tapping songs based upon jigs & reels) to the more moving love songs and serious political material. ‘It all added up to an enjoyable and informative way to mark Burns Night’.
