Community and Wellbeing

Rep Creative Learning's Community and Health & Wellbeing Programme exists to creatively empower young people and adults living with heath inequality and those at risk of isolation. We offer a diverse range of engagement opportunities from Feel Good Friday’s weekly drop in sessions (featured below) to the Rep Community Company’s annual performance on the Rep main stage. The programme also includes Young Illuminate, our youth theatre for young people with additional support needs,  The Beautiful People (featured below) and Inform, Illuminate and Beautifully Illuminated our companies for younger adults, adults and older actors with learning disabilities.  The Rep’s Community and Health & Wellbeing Programme is committed to ensuring diversity within the Rep, on and off stage.

Dundee Rep is home to the UK’s only permanent Dramatherapy Service based in a Theatre. We run an Adult Service which is delivered in partnership with Dundee City Council’s Social Work department (maybe funded through the Dundee Health and Social Care Partnership) and a Children and Young Person’s Service which is funded through Comic Relief.  Please have a look on out Dramatherapy pages
