Access Performances

At Dundee Rep Theatre, we are committed to welcoming everyone, especially those with sensory, learning and communication conditions, including those on the autistic spectrum.

Working in conjunction with National Autistic Society (NAS), we deliver year round participatory drama and technical theatre opportunities for children and young people living with autism as well as a relaxed performance of our Christmas Show.

This year the relaxed performance of A Christmas Carol will take place on Saturday 16 December at 2.30pm, supported by the Rep and Friendly Access. This performance provides a relaxed environment to help reduce anxiety, subtle adjustments to the performance and special quiet zones for audience members before and during the performance if required.

Your support will enable us to ensure that children and young people with autism will continue to experience the wellbeing benefits of participatory drama and the joy of live theatre.

If you are the parent or carer of a child or young person living with autism and would like to find out more about how they can become involved at the Rep please contact gnicol@dundeereptheatre.co.uk
