Eve Jamieson is a lecturer in Acting and Directing at The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, where she has directed over thirty productions including, notably, Michael Frayn’s Noises Off, Tom McGrath’s Animal, Brecht’s Galileo and The Hypochondriac by Moliére. She trained at RSAMD and Glasgow University and then worked in T.I.E and directed numerous youth and community productions.
She has directed productions at Perth Theatre, Byre Theatre, Brunton Theatre, Cumbernauld Theatre, Annexe Theatre and TAG Theatre where she worked for five years touring productions across the width and breadth of Scotland. She took over the role of Artistic Director of Winged Horse Touring Productions from Hamish Glen who had joined Dundee Rep as Artistic Director. Before joining RCS, Eve was Director, School of Theatre at The Space and is delighted to be back in Dundee, directing for the first time at Dundee Rep.
