Two acts, Two casts, Two sides to every story.
Dundee Rep theatre has commissioned award winning playwright Neil Duffield to write a thrilling new play for our 14-16s and 16-18s youth theatre. In this theatrical experiment Neil has written one story for 2 different casts of over 60 young talented performers who will each focus on one act of the story .
Somewhere in the distant future – after the great climate change and the raising of the oceans, when the wars of hunger and the collapse of civilisation are but half-forgotten memories, The Cailleach a shape-changing immortal who appears in whatever form she wishes sets out to entice our hero into the Otherworld, a place where time has no meaning, where past and future cease to exist, and where a single moment equals eternity.

'There's some serious thought here about storytelling, perception, imagination, and different realities; and a few fine performances, too, from a company whose outstanding commitment and energy shine through every line of this blazingly adventurous show.'
