Welcoming our new graduates!

The Rep is proud to introduce our new ensemble graduates for 2014! Millie Turner and Thomas Cotran will be joining us for the next year, beginning with performances in our upcoming production of The Glass Menagerie by Tennessee Williams. Originally from Nottingham, Millie recently graduated from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and joined the Dundee Rep Ensemble as a graduate actor.

During her final year of training Millie played Adriana in The Comedy of Errors, Mette in Festen and Lady Bountiful in The Beaux Stratagem.

Outside of her training Millie has had the opportunity to work with several theatres in Scotland, including the Citizens,Tron and Traverse. Her debut performance was in a one women show, #sleeptightbobbycairns, at The Tron Theatre, Glasgow, as part of Mayfesto 2013. In her last year of training she worked collaboratively to create "Creatures of Habit", a devised piece of theatre performed at Spoleto56 Festival dei 2Mondi, a young theatre makers festival in Italy.

Thomas is an actor from Huddersfield, West Yorkshire and is a recent graduate from the BA Musical Theatre course, at The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. Recent credits whilst in training include; A Man of No Importance. Legally Blonde. Betty Blue Eyes, and The Who’s: Tommy!

Other theatre credits include: Freakshow at The Actors Church, Covent Garden and Camden Roundhouse. Sleeping Beauty at the Citizens Theatre. King John at the Oran Mor, and Creatures of the New Domain at On The Verge festival.

Thomas is very excited to be working with the Dundee Rep Ensemble and looks forward to the experience he will gain here.
