Dundee Rep Careers Day 2017

For the 9th year in a row, Dundee Rep opens its doors to young creatives who want to explore where their future careers could take them.

Young people wishing to pursue a career in theatre and the arts are invited to attend a careers event at Dundee Rep Theatre on Tuesday 21 November, 4 pm until 7 pm.

Colleges and universities including Dundee and Angus College, Edinburgh Napier University, Fife College, Perth College, Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and Scottish Drama Training Network representatives will be on hand to offer guidance and advice on further and higher education courses and available funding.

Young people will have the chance to take part in the practical workshops throughout the event.  Royal Conservatoire of Scotland will run a career in the arts workshop; Jill Skulina will facilitate a workshop in Costume Design and Lewis Fraser will give the participants insight into Contemporary Performance Practice. Just sign up for your chosen workshops when you arrive.

Careers Day is a great opportunity for anyone thinking about pursuing a career in the arts to meet with colleges and universities and find out the options that are available to them. As well as the chance to take part in free workshops further exploring the many avenues that working in theatre can take.’
