Children's Festival

Dundee Rep Theatre are taking part in an Easter fun day at Overgate, Dundee. There will be lots on offer from Dundee Rep Theatre including storytelling session by Sarah Bradley throughout the day.

This Easter Dundee Rep Theatre will host its third Children’s Festival including puppetry, drama and a unique playroom dance performance. Five fantastic productions for children age zero upwards will be performed in Dundee Rep’s Bonar Hall with exciting activities planned along the way.

The festival opens with Aliens Love Underpants (4-6 April), based on the hugely popular book by Claire Freedman & Ben Cort this stage production is brought to life for the very first time. Aliens Love Underpants is a fresh and funny production that will delight the whole family.

To close the festival Dundee’s ownScottish Dance Theatre proudly presents Innocence (11 April), a unique playroom performance, innocence invites 0-7 year olds (and their adults) to explore the world of William Blake’s imagination. Choreographed by Scottish Dance Theatre’s Artistic Director Fleur Darkin, Innocence brings children on to stage alongside Scottish Dance Theatre’s captivating dancers as, together, they go on a magical theatrical journey full of song, dance and play.
